This patented USA made wiring device spacer and shim is perfect for supporting and leveling outlets, switches, fixture straps, and other wiring devices. It brings the device flush with the finish surface, and is especially useful when tile or stone have been added to a wall. You will find many other handy uses for this spacer/shim. They are constructed of non-conductive UL listed polyethylene plastic and are easy to use. NOTE: Not to be used when the surface is combustible, (such as wood paneling) without a proper fire barrier.

Sold in strips of 8 segments. Each segment provides approx. 1/8″ spacing. One strip provides 1″ total stand off support (8 x 1/8″).
Easy to install: Cut or tear by hand the number of segments needed (Example: 1/4″ spacing needed, then 2 segments). Fold and press together. Slotted design allows you to install without removing screws.
Versatile: These are great for supporting and leveling receptacles, switches, fixture straps, outlet boxes, etc., but can be used in a variety of shimming and spacer applications!
