ASUS Launches New Vivobook AI Laptops in India Starting at ₹89,990

I’ve recommended Vivobooks to many friends because they do the job and don’t break the bank. Now, ASUS has officially launched its refreshed Vivobook lineup in India. The new portfolio includes the Vivobook S16, Vivobook S14, Vivobook 14 Flip, Vivobook S14 Flip, and Vivobook 16, alongside a new Wireless Silent Mouse MW103.

The laptops are designed for students, professionals, and creators who switch between work, entertainment, and creative tasks throughout the day. Most of the lineup goes on sale starting September 17, while the Snapdragon-powered Vivobook S14 and S16 variants will arrive in October ahead of the festive season. Here’s everything you need to know about them.

This year’s Vivobook refresh focuses heavily on design. ASUS is introducing three new finishes—Cool Silver, Light Blue, and Matte Gray—across the lineup. The Vivobook S14 and S16 feature lightweight all-metal chassis with MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability, making them suitable for everyday commuting and travel. ASUS claims the S14 can deliver over 20 hours of battery life, while the larger S16 is rated for more than 15 hours on a single charge.

These laptops run on Intel Core 7 Series 3 processors with up to 17 TOPS of AI performance. They also feature 16:10 Full HD+ IPS displays with 100% sRGB coverage, USB Type-C connectivity, HDMI 2.1, and bundled Microsoft Office Home 2024 with one year of Microsoft 365 Basic cloud storage.

Vivobook Flip Adds OLED and Stylus Support

For creative professionals, ASUS has introduced two convertible models with 360-degree hinges. The Vivobook 14 Flip combines an OLED touchscreen, stylus support, and up to 38 hours of claimed battery life, making it one of the longest-lasting laptops in the lineup. It runs on Intel’s Core Ultra 7 Series 3 processor with a 49 TOPS NPU, plus AI-powered camera features, TPM 2.0 security, Thunderbolt 4, and a microSD card reader for creators.

The Vivobook S14 Flip takes a different approach by using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X platform with a 45 TOPS NPU. ASUS says it can deliver up to 30 hours of battery life while retaining the same premium metal convertible design, OLED touchscreen, stylus compatibility, and modern connectivity with USB-C and HDMI 2.1.

Vivobook 16 With Ryzen Power

To keep team Red fans happy, the entry point in the new range is the Asus Vivobook 16, starting at ₹89,990. It features a spacious 16-inch 16:10 IPS display with an 89% screen-to-body ratio and runs on the AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS processor.

ASUS positions it as an everyday productivity laptop with AI-assisted features, an FHD AI camera with facial recognition, military-grade durability, and the same Microsoft productivity bundle included with the rest of the lineup.

The company has also confirmed that Snapdragon-powered versions of the standard Vivobook S14 and S16 will launch in October. These models will offer up to 30 hours of battery life, Type-C fast charging, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X processor, and AI computing powered by a 45 TOPS NPU.
