The ultra bright ws2812b smart full-color LED pixel is individually addressable. It has 256 brightness display and full 24-bit (16,777,216) color display. You can set to any color or animation.
It’s put on a small PCB board that allows you to solder it in whatever configuration you want.
It’s easy to wire up and control. You just need one digital pin plus 5V and ground to control as many LEDs. The chainable design means no crossed threads.
