ASUS has launched the Chromebook CX15 (CX1505CTA) in India, targeting students, young professionals, and first-time laptop buyers. The Chromebook runs ChromeOS with Google AI features and is designed for everyday tasks such as online classes, video calls, document creation, web browsing, and cloud-based applications.
The ASUS Chromebook CX15 is powered by an Intel Processor N50, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of eMMC storage. It features a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS NanoEdge display with a 300-nit peak brightness and an anti-glare coating. ASUS claims up to 12.5 hours of battery life on a single charge. The laptop comes with a 45W USB Type-C charger and weighs 1.59 kg, making it relatively easy to carry between home, school, or the office. The Chromebook also includes several security and privacy features. It comes with a Titan C security chip, automatic ChromeOS updates, and a physical webcam privacy shutter. ASUS offers the laptop in a Pure Grey finish and says recycled materials have been used in its construction.
One of the more notable additions is a three-month Google AI Pro membership bundled with the Chromebook. The subscription provides access to Gemini across apps such as Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and NotebookLM, along with 5TB of cloud storage. The bundle also includes access to Google’s Flow AI video-generation tool, AI editing features in Google Photos, Nano Banana, and YouTube Premium Lite. These features are aimed at students and users who want additional AI tools for studying, content creation, and everyday productivity.
The ASUS Chromebook CX15 is priced at ₹47,990 in India. It is available through ASUS eShop, ASUS Exclusive Stores, ROG Stores, Reliance Digital, and authorized ASUS retail partners across the country. ASUS is also offering its Easy Pay financing option with 0% No Cost EMI plans starting at ₹3,999 per month. The Chromebook comes with a one-year standard warranty and one year of accidental damage protection.
