BGMI 4.1 Update: New Features, Changed Weapons Damage

Every few months, BGMI introduces an update that adds a new event mode and tweaks certain game metrics to make the experience more fun and enjoyable. The 4.1 update was released a couple of days ago and introduced the all-new winter city, which has already become a hotspot for all the action. Then there are a slew of changes in weapons damage as well, with some beloved guns getting their damage decreased. Here’s everything you need to know.

Changed Weapons Damage

Both shotguns and AR have had their damage values changed slightly.

• S12K: Head – 295 | Chest – 206
• S187: Head – 320 | Chest – 224
• DBS: Head – 278 | Chest – 203
• S686: Head – 322 | Chest – 225
• M1014: Head – 320 | Chest – 224
• NS200: Head – 348 | Chest – 244
• M416: Head – 80–93 | Chest – 34–40
• ASM: Head – 78–91 | Chest – 34–39
• SCAR-L: Head – 83–95 | Chest – 36–41
• AUG: Head – 78–93 | Chest – 34–40

BGMI 4.1 Update Map Changes & Additions

1. Loot Trucks: A new supply truck now roams the maps, and delivers loot and other essential items if fired on
2. New hotspot in Erangel: To spur some more action and drama the flooded village between Rozhok and Ruins is now the Boatyard that also contains wild berries for an energy boost.
3. Better Snipers: The firing rate for certain sniper rifles has been improved.
4. Changed bullet speeds: Bullet speeds for longer shots has been slowed down to mimic reality.
5. Feel Upgrade: The game now includes low ammo sounds, improved bullet SFX and scopes.
