BGMI LITE Is Now BGMI Air, Crosses 10 Million Pre-Registrations

KRAFTON India has renamed its upcoming mobile game BGMI LITE to BGMI Air. With over 10 million pre-registrations, the title is scheduled to launch in India in the latter half of the year. The game will offer users the same BGMI experience, but with a smaller download size. KRAFTON India will also introduce an Open Beta shortly to gather player feedback.

The pre-registrations for Android players in India began on August 25, 2026, and can be done via the Google Play Store. The game is approximately 1 GB on the first download, making it easier to download. Though it is a small game, it still retains the BGMI gaming experience. BGMI players do not need to transfer their existing BGMI accounts to play BGMI Air. They can access the new game separately without moving their existing BGMI accounts.
