Do you wish to live on Mars? While we are years away from walking on the Red planet and breathing in its atmosphere, Elon Musk has a way to speed up the process. Recently on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Elon Musk said that there are two methods to make Mars habitable for human life. The first method is slow and it involves flooding the Red planet with greenhouse gases to make it warmer.
Well, the second method is fast and it sounds too extreme.
The second and fast method to warm up the planet involved bombing Mars with a nuclear weapon. “The fast way is to drop thermonuclear weapons over the poles,” Musk said without any hesitation.
In the reply, Colbert called him a supervillain. “Superman doesn’t say, ‘let’s drop nuclear bombs.’ That’s Lex Luthor, man,” he added. Further, Colbert asked him why we humans should wish to go to Mars. Musk replied that Mars is “a fixed-upper of a planet.”

In addition to the Mars inhabitance discussion, Colbert asked the studio audience if Musk should run for the US president.
Talking about the reusable SpaceX rockets, Musk said that within two years, his rockets will be ready for human passengers.
