Gaming laptops have come a long way, but the Asus ROG Strix G16 is heading straight into the future. The laptop features the brand-new Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, along with the powerful Nvidia RTX 5070 GPU, both of which can handle heavy gaming and multitasking with ease.
The 16-inch ROG Nebula display on the Asus ROG Strix G16 appears to be designed for perfection. The 2.5K resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, and 3ms response time make every game and video I’ve tested look smooth and vibrant. Coupled with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU, every scene springs to life, whether I’m navigating open worlds or video editing. Features such as DLSS 4.0 and ray tracing render the visuals lifelike.
One of the better features, in my opinion, is the tool-less design. Storage or RAM upgrades have never been simpler, as no tools are required, thanks to the Q-latch system, which holds everything securely in position. The RGB lightbar adds a bright, customizable touch that’s equally at home on a gaming laptop.
Along with that, the incorporation of vapor chamber, Tri-Fan cooling, and liquid metal is able to maintain temperatures in equilibrium.
With Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, the Strix G16 offers ultra-fast and reliable wireless connectivity. Whether I’m gaming or streaming, it’s a two-speaker system with Dolby Atmos and AI noise-canceling tech that provides crisp and clear audio for gaming. Stay tuned for our full review of the Asus ROG Strix G16 dropping this week.
