Fractal Meshify C Review: A Well-Design and Affordable Mid-Tower Case

When it comes to choosing a case for your gaming rig, there are many options to consider. As a PC builder, I recently had the pleasure of working with the Fractal Meshify C, a well-designed and affordable mid-tower case that left me impressed. In this article, I’ll dive into the features, performance, and overall value of the Fractal Meshify C to help you decide if it’s the right fit for your build.

Design and Build Quality

The Meshify C has a sleek, modern design that’s both functional and visually appealing. The exterior is constructed from a sturdy metal mesh material, which not only provides excellent airflow but also looks great. The case is designed to be tool-free, with easy-open sides and top, making it easy to install or upgrade your components.

One of the standout features of the Meshify C is its spacious interior. The case has ample room for up to 29cm long graphics cards, six fan mounts (two top, four bottom), and plenty of space for cables. The mesh panel on the back of the case allows for exceptional airflow, ensuring that your components stay cool even during intense gaming sessions.

Cooling Performance

The Fractal Meshify C comes equipped with two 120mm fans pre-installed, which do an excellent job of circulating air throughout the case. Additionally, the case features a convenient bottom-mounted dust filter, which can be easily removed and cleaned for optimal airflow. The Meshify C also has plenty of fan mounts for customizing your cooling setup to your liking.

During my testing, I experienced impressive temperatures from the Meshify C. My components, including the CPU and GPU, stayed comfortably within optimal temperatures, even during extended gaming sessions. This speaks to the effectiveness of the case’s cooling system and the spacious interior, which allows for good airflow around all components.

Features and Expandability

The Fractal Meshify C boasts a number of features that make it an attractive option for gamers and builders. The case features USB ports and audio jacks on the front panel, as well as a convenient button to control fan speed. Additionally, the Meshify C has support for liquid cooling systems, including radiators up to 240mm in size.

One of the highlights of the Meshify C is its expandability options. The case has three fan mounts on the top and two on the bottom, giving you plenty of options for customizing your cooling setup. Additionally, the Meshify C supports dual graphics card configurations, making it an excellent option for multi-GPU builds.

Price and Value

Perhaps the most impressive aspect of the Fractal Meshify C is its affordability. With a street price of around $50-$60, it’s an incredible value considering its features, design, and performance. The case is competitively priced compared to other mid-tower cases on the market, making it an excellent option for builders on a budget.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the Fractal Meshify C is an outstanding mid-tower case that offers impressive performance, stylish design, and excellent value. Its spacious interior, convenient tool-free design, and top-notch cooling system make it an ideal choice for builders of all skill levels. While it may not have all the bells and whistles of higher-end cases, the Meshify C delivers exceptional performance at a price that’s hard to beat.

Overall, I highly recommend the Fractal Meshify C to anyone building a PC. Its unique combination of style, functionality, and affordability make it an excellent value that’s hard to pass up.
