It even floats when it falls into lava, so you will not lose it. You will need to enchant your diamond armor with Netherite ingots in order to craft Netherite armor.

Materials Needed to Make Netherite Armor

Here’s what you’ll require to make Netherite armor:

  • 4 Netherite Ingots
  • 4 Smithing Templates Upgrade
  • A full set of Diamond Armor (Helmet, Chest Plate, Leggings, Boots)
  • Smithing Table
  • Crafting Table, 3 Netherrack Blocks, and 21 Diamonds if you don’t already have diamond armor (Optional).

How To Make Netherite Armor in Minecraft?

Follow these steps to make Netherite Armor in Minecraft:

  1. Set down a Smithing Table and interact with it to open the interface.
  2. Insert an Upgrade Smithing Template into the leftmost slot.
  3. Place the diamond armor piece you want to upgrade in the middle slot.
  4. Add a Netherite Ingot in the last slot.
  5. Take the resulting Netherite armor piece from the output slot.
  6. Repeat the process for each piece of diamond armor (helmet, chest plate, leggings, and boots) to complete your full Netherite armor set.
