iOS Users Could Finally Remove Unwanted Default Apps

Apple CEO Tim Cook has indicated that someday, iOS users could remove the unwanted default apps from their iPhones. Read the article for more details.

Apple provides everything you need at your fingertips, but sometimes it is too much to handle. No doubt Siri makes your life easier, but Apple’s default apps like Tips, Stocks, and Newsstand not only suck up your phone’s memory and screen space, but also create problems even if you manage to delete specific apps after jailbreaking your device.
Apple CEO Tim Cook, however, has indicated that good news might be around the corner. The default apps that do not find any purpose for the users, in general, could be removed from the pre-installed apps section.
Cook explained to the Buzzfeed reporter that
This is a more complex issue than it first appears. There are some apps that are linked to something else on the iPhone. If they were to be removed they might cause issues elsewhere on the phone. There are other apps that aren’t like that. So over time, I think with the ones that aren’t like that, we’ll figure out a way.
The executive have hinted at the prospect but didn’t mention any specifics. TheiOS 9 has brilliant features and is going to be launched on Wednesday, September 16, but neither that nor its successor are expected to provide any respite from the unwanted default apps. Nevertheless, you should prepare your iPhone for an iOS 9 upgrade.
Apple has launched on September 9, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, and iPad Proand each is filled with these apps. Up until now, most of the Apple users had created a specific junk folder for the unwanted default apps, but could soon be able to get rid of them.
So, till Apple allows you to do away with the unwanted default apps, you follow what others have been doing. (#AppleJunk)
