SP’s: As a part of the “Back to the Future” day celebrations, Ford has offered you a chance to add the iconic flux capacitor to your cars. Doc’s flux capacitor is what made the time travel possible in the movies and Ford’s 1.21 gigaWatts device is going to cost you $1.2 million.

The year 2015 marks 30th year of the release of the much beloved retro-tech movie trilogy “Back to the Future”. The movie has been receiving tons of love since then and inspiring many gadgets including Hoverboard.
Back to the Future movie was based on the concept of time travel that was made possible with Doc’s flux capacitor.

Preparing for the Back to the Future fiesta between Oct. 21 and 26, automobile company Ford has decided to put a flux capacitor right in your car. For those who don’t know, these are the same days in which Doc and Marty McFly time-travelled in the movies.

Doc’s flux capacitor is what made the time travel possible and Ford’s device is going to cost you $1.2 million. In the movies, flux capacitor converted the classic Delorean into a flying time machine.

Just like the movies, the flux capacitor is powered by 1.21 gigaWatts of energy. No surprises here.

When you’ll visit the page for either the 2016 Ford Fiesta or 2016 Ford Focus between between Oct. 21 and 26 for “Back to the Future Day,” you’ll be able to spec the cars with this flux capacitor.
