The Nikon Z5IIC is a new full-frame mirrorless camera from Nikon India, equipped with the company’s Z mount. This camera targets new users, enthusiasts, and content creators looking for an easy-to-use full-frame camera. The camera includes 15 scene modes that adjust settings based on the subject. It also offers advanced features like AI autofocus and in-body image stabilization. It also includes features for video creators, such as 4K video, slow motion, and live webcam capabilities. The Nikon Z5II C camera body will be available across India from mid-October 2026. It will be priced at an MRP of Rs 1,39,995 for the body-only variant. Nikon Z5IIC Makes Full-Frame Photography Easier for Beginners

Nikon has designed the Z5IIC to make full-frame photography easier for first-time mirrorless camera users. It is the company’s first full-frame model to offer scene modes through the mode dial. The camera provides 15 options, covering subjects such as portraits, pets, and food. It also includes modes for challenging scenes, such as twilight and night landscapes.

After users select a scene, the camera automatically changes more than six settings. These include white balance and Picture Control, so users can focus more on capturing the shot. The Z5IIC also has a dedicated button for Imaging Recipes created by Nikon and leading creators. These presets let users achieve different visual styles without spending much time on post-processing.

Nikon Z5IIC Brings Full-Frame Imaging and Portable Design

The Nikon Z5IIC combines a backside-illuminated CMOS sensor with Nikon’s EXPEED 7 image-processing engine. Paired with NIKKOR Z lenses, it captures detailed images with natural bokeh. It can also reproduce smooth gradations in scenes such as sunsets and reduce noise in darker environments. The camera uses AI-powered autofocus with deep-learning technology to detect 10 subject types. It can focus down to -10 EV, which helps when shooting concerts, dinner events, and night street scenes. Nikon has also included 5-axis in-body Vibration Reduction with up to 7.5 stops of compensation at the center of the frame. This helps reduce blur caused by camera shake during handheld shooting.

The Z5IIC also features a streamlined body with an ergonomic grip for comfortable handling. Its 3.2-inch vari-angle touchscreen supports familiar controls such as double-tapping, pinching, and swiping. The camera also uses a dust- and drip-resistant design with magnesium-alloy sections for added rigidity. Users can choose between black and silver.

Z5IIC Offers 4K Video and Features for Content Creators

For video creators, the Nikon Z5IIC offers recording options ranging from everyday clips to more advanced productions. It can shoot in 4K UHD at 60 fps and Full HD video at 120 fps. It also features slow-motion shooting capabilities at 4x and 5x speed. It has a REC light and red-frame indication, making it easier to see when recording has started. Another helpful feature is Product Review Mode. This mode helps you focus on an object closer to the camera. It will be useful while shooting product reviews. The device can function as a webcam by connecting directly to the PC via USB.

For advanced users, the camera supports H.265 10-bit (MOV) and N-Log recording. It can also record N-RAW video directly to an SD card. The Z5IIC supports continuous shooting at approximately 14 fps for fast-moving subjects. High-Speed Frame Capture can reach up to 30 fps, while Pre-Release Capture records up to one second before you press the shutter. Other additions include the Fish subject-detection option and learning features in SnapBridge. The app also supports automatic image transfer to a smartphone. Nikon Imaging Cloud provides another option for managing data after shooting.
