OPPO A6x 5G Launched in India With Dimensity 6300 & 6,500mAh Battery

While flagship phones like the OPPO Find X9 get all the press coverage, budget phones are what most people buy. And OPPO has just launched the all-new A6x, which promises smooth performance, a sleek design, and a 120Hz display at a starting price of just INR 12,499.

Measuring 8.58mm slim and weighing 212g, the OPPO A6x 5G is sleek but well-balanced in design. The unibody frame maintains that premium feeling, while the fingerprint-resistant lens coating keeps the device clean and smudge-free. The phone comes in two colour options.

Fast Performance with Big Battery

Under the hood, the A6x 5G runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset, giving it enough muscle to handle day-to-day multitasking and more demanding apps without slowing down. OPPO says the processor focuses on efficiency and stability, keeping performance consistent throughout the day. We will test these claims in our review dropping soon.

For gamers, it adds AI GameBoost to sharpen responsiveness and keep gameplay running smoothly, while Splash Touch mode enhances touch sensitivity for finer in-game control. AI LinkBoost 3.0 keeps the device usable and helps maintain a steady network signal, even in weak-signal areas or crowded areas.

The phone ships with ColorOS 15, which brings several system-level improvements. The Luminous Rendering Engine ensures fluid, polished animations, and the Trinity Engine boosts performance while managing power intelligently. Combined with the phone’s 120Hz Ultra Bright Display, everything from scrolling to gaming feels faster and more responsive.

The OPPO A6x 5G packs a massive 6,500mAh battery, giving users up to 882.1 hours of standby time and 22.4 hours of video playback. When it’s finally time to charge, the phone’s 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging kicks it up a notch, taking the battery from 1% to 41% in just 30 minutes. Visuals and Performance With ColorOS 15.

Coming to optics, the A6x features a dual-camera setup comprising a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, both of which are well-suited to their respective roles. However, it’s important to note that cameras won’t be a big focus of the device.
