OPPO has begun teasing a new K-series smartphone in India, suggesting a launch is soon to follow. The new teaser is titled “Get ready for the Next K,” indicating that a new model will soon be added to the existing lineup. Furthermore, Flipkart has already activated a microsite for the device, pointing to an online launch.
For now, OPPO has kept most details under wraps. The brand has not revealed the phone’s name, specifications, or official launch date. However, early hints suggest the phone could be named the OPPO K14 or K15, or arrive as a refreshed model within the K13 series.
The teaser does offer a partial look at the phone’s design. The device continues OPPO’s familiar K-series design with flat edges and a flat back panel. It features a rectangular camera module with rounded corners. The rear setup includes two cameras and an LED flash. The overall design closely matches recent K-series models. This suggests a design refresh rather than a major visual change.
The new K-series smartphone is expected to follow up on the OPPO K13 series, launched in April 2025. The earlier series included models with large batteries, fast charging capabilities, and smooth displays, which made them quite popular in the mid-range segment.
OPPO launched the K13 5G at a starting price of Rs 17,999 and priced the K13x 5G at Rs 11,999. Following its earlier strategy, the upcoming K-series smartphone will likely target India’s budget-to-mid-range market with a focus on battery performance and affordability.
