OPPO India Introduces ‘The Snap Circle’ for Aspiring Young Photographers

OPPO India has announced the launch of The Snap Circle, a pan-India initiative to empower young, aspiring photographers attending colleges across the country. This is in line with the brand philosophy “Make Your Moment“, and the program primarily engages students in creativity through practical learning and mobile photography. The initiative also works as a long-term platform for participants to seek practical experience, improvement in technical skills, and development of creative confidence.

Hands-On Learning with OPPO Find X Series

As part of The Snap Circle, selected students will take part in real-world photography assignments beyond the classroom. These assignments provide practical learning and hands-on experience guided by industry experts. Moreover, the programme includes expert mentorship to improve technical skills and creativity, focusing on composition, lighting, colour balance, and subject focus.

The selected students will also get a chance to experience the flagship Find X Series smartphones of OPPO to experiment with their latest imaging technology. It will shortlist ten students in each college on the basis of creativity, technical ability, and passion for photography, who will participate in a themed, 10-day photography challenge, with final submissions reviewed by the camera team at OPPO.

Building a Long-Term Creator Community

The Snap Circle Community goes beyond the photography challenge to build a strong, long-term creator ecosystem for OPPO. Students who will be selected through a simple registration and shortlisting process will not only compete but also be recognized for their efforts. Additionally, OPPO will award Find X Series smartphones to the top two performers from each college, and participation certificates to others.

In addition, all selected students will join the Snap Circle Community. It is a year-long programme offering workshops, guided photo walks, continued expert mentorship, and hands-on product experiences. Starting from JECRC University in Jaipur, the initiative will expand to major Indian universities in 2026. These cities include Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, Ahmedabad, and Bhubaneswar.
