Panasonic LUMIX L10 Launched in India at ₹1,79,990 With Leica Lens

Panasonic has launched the new LUMIX L10 fixed-lens camera in India. The launch comes as the LUMIX brand celebrates its 25th anniversary. The camera features a compact 508g body and a premium design. It is aimed at street, travel, and everyday photography. The LUMIX L10 also combines a Leica lens with AI-powered autofocus and creative photography features.

The Panasonic LUMIX L10 features a Leica DC Vario-Summilux lens with a 24–75mm focal length. This gives it an aperture range of f/1.7 to f/2.8, making it easier for the camera to adapt to different photographic situations. The lens also supports macro shooting from a distance of 3cm. Panasonic pairs the lens with a 4/3-type back-illuminated (BSI) CMOS sensor. This camera comes with a 20.4-megapixel effective resolution for detailed pictures and textures. Dynamic Range Boost ensures that detail is maintained in shadows while taking still shots in difficult lighting conditions. This camera supports different aspect ratios, such as 4:3, 3:2, and 16:9. Its multi-aspect shooting mode ensures the angle of view remains constant regardless of the aspect ratio chosen.

The LUMIX L10 combines a 779-point Phase Hybrid AF system with AI-based subject recognition. It can recognize eyes, faces, bodies, animals, and vehicles while focusing on subjects. The system also supports dynamic scenes such as Urban Sports for challenging shooting situations. Panasonic has included L.Classic and L.ClassicGold Photo Styles for added creative control. REAL TIME LUT allows users to load custom color profiles directly into the camera.

For framing, the LUMIX L10 comes with a 2.36-million-dot OLED electronic viewfinder. Panasonic also adds a 1.84-million-dot free-angle monitor for flexible composition. Users can position the monitor for both horizontal and vertical shooting. Through the LUMIX Lab app, users can connect the camera with their smartphones. The app lets them transfer images and make edits on their connected devices.

Panasonic has priced the LUMIX L10 at Rs. 1,79,990 in India. It will become available for purchase from August 2026 onwards. Consumers can buy it in two colors: Black and Silver.
