Nvidia is using the core accounting officer to recently sell almost 4.4 million shares of its company, a move that has become a major focus of shareholders who track any activities of the largest artificial-intelligence chip producer.
As stated in SEC filings, Donald F. Robertson Jr. disposed of 24,990 shares on 19 December 2025, and the price per share was between $176.91 to $180.88.
This deal was done on the basis of a pre-determined Rule 10b5-1 plan of 18 September 2025 and Robertson still owns 426860 shares after the sale.
It is the norm that the top officials achieve profits during the blistering rise of companies like Nvidia. As the shares have risen over a year raising the market capitalization to 4.4 trillion.
NVIDIA’s revenue for the twelve months ending October 31, 2025, was $187.142B, a 65.22% increase year-over-year. NVIDIA’s annual revenue for 2025 was $130.497B, a 114.2% increase from 2024.
Investment analysts also have a positive view regarding the future of Nvidia. Tigress Financial has raised its target price to $350 with a gauge of Strong Buy in view of the dominance of Nvidia as a researcher in artificial-intelligence systems in automotive and healthcare.
Bernstein SocGen kept a target of an Outperform rating at $275 due to the excellent performance of Nvidia, compared to its competitors in the semiconductor industry.
In another move, rival Mythic has raised $125 million at DCVC and Softbank trying to dilute the competitive edge of Nvidia, as Nvidia has maintained an intensive server-farm project in Israel.
More importantly, as the use of Blackwell-class chips becomes commonplace and the artificial-intelligence expenditures are estimated to reach up to $2 trillion in 2026, the valuation of Nvidia can be considered as being near its fair value.
Insider sales can be interpreted as profit-taking but not the loss of confidence and people who invest in the share market should focus on the first quarter earnings that will highlight the performance of the data centers.
