Everything You Need to Know About Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase July 2025

The Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase for July 2025 is here and it gave fans a lot to be excited about. There’s so much from RPGs and action games to sports and cozy adventures, there is something for everyone. This event showed what is coming soon for the Nintendo Switch and the new Switch 2. Everyone’s excited, are you?

It was about 25 minutes long, but it comes with a lot of game announcements and trailers. So, let’s go over everything that was shown and why it matters.

Monster Hunter Stories 3 Is Coming in 2026

The showcase started with Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection. This new RPG from Capcom puts players in a world where the environment is in danger. Two kingdoms are fighting, and a strange egg holds a big mystery. You ride a Rathalos and battle with other creatures. The game looks great and is planned for release in 2026.

Octopath Traveler 0 Arrives in December

Next up was Octopath Traveler 0, a new prequel from Square Enix. This HD 2D game has the same beautiful art style as the first two games. It will be released on December 4, 2025 for Switch 2. Players start in a town called Wishvale that has burned down and go on a journey of hope and rebuilding. The game has turn based combat and over 30 characters to recruit.

Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment Revealed

A new Zelda spin off called Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment was shown. This game connects to Tears of the Kingdom and includes characters like Princess Zelda and King Rauru. We do not have a full release date yet, just that it is coming in Winter 2025. A new trailer showed more about the game’s story and fast paced action.

Persona 3 Reload Comes to Switch 2

One of the most loved RPGs is getting a new home. Persona 3 Reload is coming to Switch 2 on October 23, 2025. This remake lets players explore the dark hour, fight shadows, and build relationships during the day. It is already popular on other platforms, and now fans can enjoy it on the go.

EA Sports Games Return to Switch

Madden NFL 26 and EA Sports FC 26 are both heading to Switch 2. Madden returns after a long break and launches on August 14. Pre-orders for the deluxe version include early access. FC 26 launches on September 26 with new storylines and gameplay based on fan feedback.

Final Fantasy Tactics Gets a New Look

Final Fantasy Tactics, The Ivalice Chronicles was shown again with updated graphics and full voice acting. It is set to release on September 30, 2025 and fans of strategy games should take note.

The Adventures of Elliot Adds Action to HD 2D

Square Enix ended the show with a surprise. The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is an action RPG using HD 2D visuals. You play as Elliot, who explores ruins with a fairy named Faie plus the game lets you use seven weapons and even has co-op options.

• Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is coming to Switch and Switch 2 on November 14. It will include motion controls and alternate timelines.
• Once Upon a Katamari has you rolling through space to fix the stars. It launches on October 24.
• Chillin’ by the Fire is a cozy campfire sim and it is out now.
• Pac Man World 2 Re Pac brings the classic back on September 26.
• Yakuza Kiwami 1 and 2 launch on November 13 for Switch 2. There is a discount for old owners.
• Cronos The New Dawn from Bloober Team comes out on September 5 with horror and time travel.
• Star Wars Outlaws launches on September 4 for Switch 2.
• Hela is a charming game with a mouse and a magical frog bag, coming in 2026.
• Apex Legends drops on August 5 with a free skin if you log in before September 16.
• Just Dance 2026 hits in October with 40 songs and up to 6 player local play.
