Anthropic and Infosys have developed customized AI agents in a landmark strategic alliance to improve their efficiencies in operations across industries such as telecommunications to finance.
The Infosys share price rose by 4.8% to touch the highest point on 17 February 2026, as compared to the 0.3% increase of the Nifty Composite index and was the largest market rise in the last two weeks. This is an indicator of increased investor interest in artificial-intelligence features.
Partnership Powerhouse
Claude suites of models, such as the specialized code-optimized Claude Code, are deployed at Infosys Topaz platform; they are part of Claude suite, which automates the daily routine operations and shortens software life cycles.
The first area the partnership aims to serve is the telecommunications industry through implementing an Anthropic Center of Excellence and then on to the financial services through risk evaluation and manufacturing with an AI-oriented design and lastly the software creation efforts.

Market Momentum
Infosys dodged a prior slump, with its revenues falling however, it showed strong activity in the 3rd 2026 fiscal period (FY26) through its contracts taking $4.8 billion and an annualized run-rate of $1.8 billion of AI revenue. This growth path is supported by the Topaz platform, with FY26 projections showing growth of 3-3.5 % in revenue, with its earlier forecast of 2%-3%.
Anthropic announced the completion of a $30 billion funding round at a $380 billion post-money valuation, more than doubling the artificial intelligence company’s value in September, when it last raised funds. It also opened up and invested in the Indian market due to agreements with Air India and Cognizant that are expected to hire an estimated 350,000 people.

The fact that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has organized the India AI Impact Summit, raising the level of aspiration that the country would take the first spot in the creation of artificial intelligence, which can be explained by the high level of competition between large economies.
