Wiz Teams Up with Google Cloud to Strengthen AI Security Defenses

On 11 March 2026, Wiz, one of the leading Cloud security firms, officially signed an agreement with Google Cloud.

The partnership combines the innovation of a security toolkit offered by Wiz with the massive capabilities of the Google AI service and has the potential to result in new defensive positions as the AI-driven workload rises.

Blistering Development in AI Boom

After turning down Google’s $23 billion offer, Assaf spoke to Wiz employees and explained the company’s audacious plan to reach $1 billion in revenue by 2026. Less than 10 businesses have accomplished this feat in the history of cybersecurity.

In reality, only about ten (0.00001) of the more than 10,000 businesses in the cybersecurity sector have reached the $1 billion revenue threshold. This is a very difficult objective to accomplish in five years.

Research Which Deformed the Industry

With extensive knowledge of cloud environments and code, Wiz provides an intuitive security platform that connects to all major clouds and assists in preventing and responding to cybersecurity incidents.

Its capabilities, which include AI-powered threat intelligence and security operations tools, complement Google Cloud’s leadership in cloud infrastructure and deep AI expertise.

Together, Google Cloud and Wiz will offer a single security platform that speeds up an organization’s ability to identify, stop, and address threats.

By identifying new threats generated by AI models, defending against threats to AI models, and utilizing AI models to assist security experts in more efficiently searching for threats, it will help them stay ahead of the curve.

Innovations and Vulnerabilities

Wiz Research is still at the forefront of security, finding serious flaws that safeguard not only Wiz clients but the sector as a whole. The systemic risks associated with the digital age are highlighted by this work, which includes findings such as:

  • Millions of API keys were leaked from an exposed database in Moltbook, a popular social network for AI agents, highlighting the security risks associated with vibe-coded apps.
  • The AWS Console may have been compromised by CodeBreach, a serious supply chain vulnerability.
  • Over 75% of cloud environments were affected by RediShell, a 13-year-old critical RCE vulnerability in Redis (CVSS 10.0).
  • Shared AI infrastructure was at risk due to the container escape vulnerability known as NVIDIAScape.

A sophisticated wave of supply chain attacks, such as Shai-Hulud and NX, were discovered and remedied, and our research shielded hundreds of organizations from highly targeted, dynamic threats.

Future Secured by AI Synergy

The collaboration provides Wiz with access to Gemini AI and maintains a multi-cloud protective posture in all environments.

According to analysts, the partnership will enhance the competitive advantage of Google cloud in the cloud marketplace since organizations grapple with AI-native threats.

This is also expected to enhance AI-induced defenses, surpassing the rate of breaches in a period of breakneck speed and the need to comply with defensive measures.
