A phone screen, a watch face and a display in a pair of glasses each serve a different purpose. HCELLVI Inc. is presenting a concept that would connect those experiences through a device designed to change form and a removable visual interface.

Developed by inventor Rodrigo Pedroza da Silva, the HCELLVI proposal combines a smartphone that folds into a compact wrist configuration with smart glasses and a transferable display layer called Hview. The company’s aim is to let users move between a larger screen, quick interactions at the wrist and information within their field of view.

HCELLVI is currently a conceptual product at the pre-prototype stage. It is not commercially available. The accompanying renderings illustrate proposed designs, and the features described here remain subject to engineering development and testing.

A phone designed to change form

The design brief describes a rectangular handset divided into four equal sections, with folding along two axes. Those sections would close into a compact square, with a magnetic mechanism intended to hold the folded device in place.

In its open configuration, the handset would provide a touchscreen for applications, communication and multitasking. When folded, the core device could take on a wristwatch configuration using interchangeable magnetic bands.

The proposed band options include silicone, leather and metal, giving the wrist format several design directions. HCELLVI presents this physical transformation as a central part of its approach to combining phone and wearable functions.

Hview: a removable interface for the glasses

Hview is the project’s removable smart film or display layer. According to the design proposal, it would detach from the handset before folding and could then attach to the Hcellvi Glass frame for an augmented-reality interface.

The intended use is to bring applications, notifications and visual information into the wearer’s field of view. The eyewear concept includes different frame styles and options for prescription or non-prescription lenses.

For HCELLVI, the transferable layer connects the physical design to the proposed user experience: information could remain available as the user moves from holding the phone to wearing the wrist device or glasses.

Software to coordinate the experience

The project describes a proposed Hcellvi OS with artificial-intelligence integration and voice commands. Its intended role is to synchronize information and coordinate actions across the phone, wrist and eyewear configurations.

A user could request a call, check a notification or start an activity through voice interaction. The brief also proposes visual and haptic feedback to confirm commands, with software intended to keep the different interfaces coordinated.

Additional ideas include camera-assisted recognition and contextual reminders based on registered information about a contact. These are proposed applications within the wider software concept; HCELLVI has not presented them here as demonstrated product capabilities.

Everyday scenarios behind the design

The concept’s use cases explain why those transitions matter to HCELLVI. One scenario begins with a video call on the open handset, followed by a wrist notification and related information displayed through the glasses.

Another scenario explores starting a running session by voice, reviewing activity information at the wrist and requesting a summary through the eyewear. These examples describe the experience the project aims to support.

The larger screen would serve tasks that need more visual space, the wrist configuration would provide quick access to alerts and controls, and the glasses would offer a way to consult information while the user’s hands are occupied.

The next stage for HCELLVI

Turning the proposal into working hardware would involve prototype development and testing of the folding structure, Hview attachment, display behavior, power use and software coordination. The project’s technical specifications are design targets that would need to be assessed during that process.

HCELLVI Inc. is introducing the concept to potential technology partners and investors interested in exploring its next stage of development. Its focus is the proposed integration of phone, wrist and eyewear experiences within one adaptable system.
