Kirby air riders have the official confirmation of being released on November 20, 2025, and is to be available on switch 2 exclusively. This was announced on its newest Nintendo Direct where its designers shared a 45-minute in depth look into the design of the game and its features. The first game in the series, Kirby Air Ride 2003, GameCube, has continued to cultivate a cult following even though it was a one-time experiment. Several years later, over 23 years now, Kirby is starting to race once again this time with updated graphics, additional play modes and newly added technology.
It is brave of Nintendo to launch Kirby Air Riders as its second high-profile racing game this year on switch 2, barely half a year after Mario Kart World. This diversity indicates that Nintendo does not want to compete directly on Mario Kart’s territory but at least they provide an alternative to their formula.

Mario Kart World was launched at a price of $80 dollars and the iOS version of Drag x Drive will be sold at the price of only $20 dollars.
