SpaceX Launches 24 Starlink Satellites from California, Falcon 9 Hits Milestone

It was launched on August 22 by a Falcon 9 rocket on an orbital launch base at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, which delivered 24 satellites to Starlink. About eight-and-a-half minutes after liftoff the rocket completed the first stage of its flight and landed successfully on the drone ship “of course I still love you” in the Pacific Ocean. The Constellation of Starlink is growing. Wasserman says that Starlink now has over 2,000 satellites under construction in multiple regional assembly factories.

In demonstrating the reusability at scale, SpaceX has challenged all competitions to reconsider their strategies. The governments and private companies are adjusting to the new fact that launches could now be very frequent and affordable.

Starlink, in its turn, has created some crucial debates. The advocates call attention to its ability to reach remote areas and to provide internet connection in the event of natural disasters or wars.
