The October 2025 ID@Xbox event showed fans a cool peek at the indie games coming to Xbox. The event, made with IGN, lasted fifty minutes and had game reveals and special news. From noir shooters to rhythm games, the event cheered creativity in the indie world.

Mouse: P.I. For Hire a Funny Cartoon is Real

The best part was Mouse: P.I. For Hire, a shooter inspired by old cartoons. Fumi Games said the game used the bendy style of those cartoons. It makes the game look special, with stretchy effects that make it feel alive.

Gamers play as detective Jack Pepper, who walks around Mouseburg. The game has Jack’s office, a bar, and a shop. Each spot has characters, and gamers can boost weapons or play a card game with cards they find.

The game has ten areas, each with levels. Enemies change, learning tricks like force fields. Guns add more fun, like a pistol, a shotgun, a freeze gun, and a “talking gun.” It arrives March 19, 2026, and may be one of next year’s best FPS games.

Invincible VS Adds Robot and Monster Girl to Fight

Invincible VS, inspired by the cool comic and cartoon, dropped its spooky Halloween treat. A sneak peek showed Robot and Monster Girl ready to rumble in the next fight game. People checked out their fight moves and quirks, hyping up the 2026 launch date. Looks like the game will nail the punch and feel of the Invincible world, letting gamers scrap as their favorite good guys and bad guys.

Vampire Survivors Just Got Bigger Thanks to Balatro

Everyone’s favorite Vampire Survivors keeps getting cooler. It has a fresh “Ante Chamber” plus version 1.14 that showed up during the show. The update’s got a surprise team-up with Balatro, online buddy-up stuff, and cool spots like the Westwood’s. New stuff like the Mazzarella Update and “Ode to Castle Vania” too, making the crazy fun even wilder.

Planet of Lana 2: Children of the Leaf Double the Size, Double the Fun

Big fans of Planet of Lana got a long peek at the next one, Planet of Lana 2: Children of the Leaf. The clip had a sweet ocean world packed with new creeps and risks. Gamers get to boss Mui and other beasts, like an ink fish, to dodge shocking sharks.

The crew at Wishfully said the next game is twice as long and big as the first one. People will roam snowy hills, scary caves, and wrecked cities while the story makes the feelings between people and the world deeper.

Fun Time Games, Life Simulators, and Wild Stuff

The event showed funny and unique games too. Task Time was super funny, like Gang Beasts or Fall Guys. Eight pals can play silly games, like keeping A and Z away or hitting others using selfie sticks.

TCG Card Shop Simulator lets folks run their own card shop. Open packs, play games, and run the shop. Card fans and sim fans will love it.

Over the Hill, a chill game, gives folks a calm road trip across lovely views in old cars from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s. It mixes old times with new trips and pals.

Funny, Sad Stories Start

In Egging On, folks are eggs trying not to break or get cooked while escaping a chicken house. The goofy idea and how it plays make it look like a fun indie win.

Puppergeist, though, was sadder. Set in the Dog Afterlife, the game tells of a lost dog spirit on a sweet trip about being nice and lost. With music and story bits, it tells a touching story that will make folks cry happy tears.

Scary, Spooky Worlds Come Back

Scary game fans had much to see. Darkwood 2 is back with a scary new place, the Aral Sea leftovers in the 1990s. Folks must see a dying, lonely world and live through bad things that come out at night.

Agni: Village of Calamity threw odd Indonesian scares into broad daylight. The preview stalks Agni, a cop who breaks rules to creep around a hexed town. Scary scenes, like a split head on wood and phantom beasts, let watchers taste its wild vibe. Joko Anwar steered, seeming spooky and pretty neat to view.

Raw Fury and Other Bright Spots

Raw Fury flashed odd games coming soon Monsters Are Coming: Rock & Road, Routine, and Dome Keeper. The clip showed off cool views and trippy ways to have fun in games.

Superball, also rad, is footy in a tech world that jams quick action with odd hero skills. Game Pass Ultimate folks even get cool extras, like sixteen open heroes and a battle thing.

DayZ buffs saw a movie clip for the Badlands thing, with the hugest map ever a hot spot named Nasadara area. The clip made peeps wonder about new hard stuff and staying alive in a mean, sunbaked land.

Great Quests and Feels Trips

Other games from the Indie Selects bit were Ultros, Sorry We’re Closed, and Plucky Squire, proving how deep and big indie games stay.

Aphelion by Don’t Nod felt grand due to its feel-heavy tale. The game tags space folks Ariane and Thomas as they try to meet up on an icy, unknown world. They see warped truth and some dark thing that hunts them hard.

Ungodly let gamers see a dim dream world where fate and might crash hard. Using over twenty peeps named Primals, the game mixes plans and story in a lush, odd place.

Lastly, Awaysis gave movie fans fun stuff: a dungeon fight with real push fights, buddy play, even brave frogs.

A Display of Dreams and Many Types

The spooky 2025 ID@Xbox event showed once more that indie devs are paving a strange path in new thoughts and plans. From sad stories to odd, trial runs of games, the event displayed how gaming’s path isn’t just in huge, costly games but also in smaller teams with brave thoughts.

With games like Mouse: P.I. For Hire, Planet of Lana 2, and Puppergeist coming soon, it’s known that indie gaming keeps growing stronger and stranger than before. Xbox’s aid through ID@Xbox makes sure that these odd voices get the stage they should have, and gamers are the ones who gain the best.
