Activision officially announced that there will not be an early access release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. The title will be released on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series/S, Xbox One, and PC the world over on 14 November.

Some confusion was first caused when Forbes falsely claimed that the $100 Vault Edition had 72 hours of early access, which started on 11 November. The inaccuracies were quickly spread to social media, thus creating an interest in buyers of the higher-priced edition to get the game earlier than it was intended to be released.

Activision thereafter released a clarification. After speaking to the Activision representatives, Forbes revised its article to make it accurate. The publisher was categorical that there is no version of the game that grants early access.

All consumers will be launched at the same time, regardless of the version bought. Activision reaffirmed this by the gaming news website Charlie Intel, and was subsequently confirmed by the Activision spokesperson through GamesRadar

Local Responses and Anticipations

To most of the fans, this announcement brought an end to uncertainty. This has become a common aspect of many major game releases; however, by keeping the release date of every game the same, Activision is allowing equity among players.

Gamers have shown dissatisfaction that they missed the opportunity to play the title early, with others enjoying the fact that everyone would start playing at the same time.

Nevertheless, even without early release, interest in the game is strong regarding Black Ops 7. The future game title has already gained some hype due to the fast action, enhanced mobility solutions, and new tactical experience.

According to the preview of GamesRadar+, the game was viewed as a real follow-up, one that polishes its predecessor, but gives more freedom of movement, as well as choice of strategy.

Observing Ahead to Launch Day

As Black Ops 7 is just a few days away, players are already gearing up to expect a shooter with one of the biggest releases of the year. A beta in the early part of the year gave us a sneak preview of the innovations that are coming up, and it has been well-received.

The developer Treyarch is still working on the details, like aim assist, to make the game balanced across all platforms.
