vivo Confirms X300 Series To Launch on December 2: Specs & Pricing Revealed


vivo has confirmed that its new X300 and X300 Pro smartphones are set to launch in India on December 2. These phones were first introduced globally and will now be available in India. The series introduces several exciting upgrades, including larger batteries, 200MP cameras, and premium features that have already caught the attention of smartphone enthusiasts. The phones will be available on Flipkart, the vivo online store, and selected retail outlets once they hit the market. With a number of brands launching their flagship phones this season, the announcement of the X300 has only added to the excitement.

vivo X300 Series: Key Features

The vivo X300 features a compact yet premium 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, significantly enhancing the viewing experience. It is IP68 and IP69-rated for withstanding tough conditions and ensuring protection against dust and water. It also features the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage for enhanced speed and reliability in multitasking.

The device further features a 6040mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. It also provides 40W wireless charging for quick boosts. The X300 uses a 200MP main camera for detailed photos. It adds a 50MP ultra-wide lens for wider scenes. A 50MP periscope camera delivers strong zoom shots. The 50MP front camera captures clear selfies.

On the other hand, the vivo X300 Pro features a larger 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. For performance, it features the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, designed to be both fast and power-efficient. vivo has packed a 6510mAh battery in this model, supporting 90W fast charging and 40W wireless charging. In addition, the camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. For selfies, the phone uses a sharp 50MP front camera.

What Makes the X300 Series Special?

While vivo is yet to confirm the MSRP, prices are expected to increase over previous generations, thanks to the increased cost of components. According to tipster Sanju Choudhary, the vivo X300 is expected to start at roughly INR 75,999 for the 12GB+256GB variant, while the 16GB+512GB version is expected to be around INR 80,999. Unfortunately, pricing details for the Pro variant remain a mystery, although its telephoto extender kit is expected to cost INR 20,999.
