For the first time, YouTube is offering a complete Recap that shows your full year of watching in one place. Previously focused only on music and gaming, the feature now covers your whole watch history and presents it through small cards showing your interests and top creators. It’s live in India and will be available globally in the coming days.

Here’s what the new Recap 2025 highlights for you:

• You receive up to 12 cards that highlight your favourite channels, interests, and overall viewing style.
• It also shows how your watching habits shifted or grew throughout the year.
• YouTube assigns you a viewer personality based on the type of videos you enjoy the most.
• If you listen to music on YouTube, you’ll see your Top Artists and Songs.
• You also get extra insights like your favourite genres, podcasts, and global music patterns from YouTube Music.

YouTube listened to its users and tested the feature several times to make this Recap even more personal. Instead of showing only statistics, it gives more emphasis on your viewing style and allocates fun personality types like Sunshiner, Skill Builder, Adventurer, and Wonder Seeker. These tags reflect what you like to watch and follow regularly.

How to Check Your YouTube Recap?

1. Log in to your YouTube profile.
2. Open the You section on mobile or desktop.
3. Tap the Your Recap is here banner.
   
4. Go directly to youtube.com/Recap if the banner is missing.

Keep in mind that this feature is only available for eligible users, and some accounts might not show results if watch history settings were limited.
