GIGABYTE Launches New Made-in-India Gaming Monitors

GIGABYTE has released two new gaming monitors in India, the GS22F12I and GS27F16I. They target both first-time gaming monitor buyers and those seeking a bigger, faster display. The GS22F12I offers a 120Hz refresh rate, while the GS27F16I provides a 165Hz refresh rate, extendable to 180Hz through overclocking. This release follows the G25F2A, the first GIGABYTE-made gaming monitor in India.

GIGABYTE GS22F12I and GS27F16I Features

The GIGABYTE GS22F12I features a Full HD VA display and a 120Hz refresh rate. This product is for people upgrading from a standard 60Hz monitor. It has 1ms MPRT to help eliminate blur when viewing fast-moving objects. This monitor is also suitable for gaming, with a wide color gamut that produces clear images. It also suits everyday entertainment and users building their first gaming setup.

The GS27F16I targets gamers who want a larger display and faster refresh rates. It features a 26.5-inch VA panel with Full HD resolution and a 27-inch-class design. The monitor supports a 165Hz refresh rate and can reach 180Hz with overclocking. Its 1ms MPRT response time keeps fast-moving action clearer. It also supports HDR10, VRR, and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. Gaming features include Black Equalizer, Aim Stabilizer Sync, and Smart OD.

GIGABYTE’s Focus on Local Manufacturing

GIGABYTE launches GS22F12I and GS27F16I in India under the ‘Made in India’ line-up. The new gaming monitors cater to various gamer segments in India, from first-time buyers to those seeking a larger screen with a fast refresh rate. The launch follows the release of the G25F2A, GIGABYTE’s first made-in-India gaming monitor. Local manufacturing will help GIGABYTE respond to market demand and improve product availability. Sunil Grewal, Director of GIGABYTE Technology India, said India remains important to the company’s consumer business and long-term manufacturing strategy.

Price and Availability

The GIGABYTE GS22F12I has an Indian price tag of INR 5,750, which includes tax. The GS27F16I is available in India for INR 10,449, including tax. Both gaming monitors will be available through certified e-commerce websites and GIGABYTE retail and channel partners.
