Motorola launched the Signature 27 at the Snapdragon Summit 2026, introducing a new flagship to the Signature series lineup. The smartphone is one of the first devices Qualcomm has announced with its new Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset. The Signature 27 also features a 200MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50MP Sony LYTIA 910 main camera. Specifications and Key Features
The Motorola Signature 27 runs on Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 flagship chipset. Motorola says the chipset improves on-device AI, camera performance, gaming response, and download speeds. The phone also uses Motorola’s ArcticMesh cooling system to manage heat during demanding tasks. It combines diamond-infused thermal gel, liquid metal, and copper mesh with a redesigned 3D vapor chamber. Motorola says the new vapor chamber is 40 percent larger than the previous generation.
For cameras, the Signature 27 features a 50MP Sony LYTIA 910 main sensor. It also gets a 200MP periscope telephoto camera for zoom shots. Motorola has added its Video Enhancement Engine, which uses AI to analyze scenes during recording. It can also adjust color tones in real time. The phone also supports Google’s Gemini Omni, which can create finished videos from prompts, photos, or existing footage. Google’s Lyria can also generate music and soundtracks. Motorola promises seven years of OS upgrades for the Signature 27. The phone is expected to launch with Android 17. It also becomes the first Motorola smartphone with Audio by B&O branding on its rear panel.

Motorola Signature 27 phone will come in Pantone Coal Smoke and Pantone Capulet Green. The Coal Smoke model has a woven finish that, according to Motorola, enhances the phone’s grip and durability. The Capulet Green model will have a brushed finish designed to emulate a textile-like look.
The Motorola Signature 27 also introduces a new naming convention, where the last two numbers denote the coming year. It is the second model in the Signature series, following the first Motorola Signature launched earlier this year.
