Everyone knows this, Hoverboards are fun and will soon be prosaic. But for these custom officials, it was probably an alien tech which they felt should be confiscated, along with its owner!
Rapper Wiz Khalifa was pinned to the ground and handcuffed at Los Angeles International Airport on Saturday when he refused to disembark himself from his hoverboard. The video shows 6 police officials manhandling Khalifa. The officers in the footage can be heard advising the rapper to “stop resisting“, to which Khalifa replied “I’m not resisting sir, I’m not resisting.”
Wiz Khalifa later talked about the incident in a series of tweets:
However, the incident can be viewed as Khalifa flouting the airport rules, and resisting the officials’ order. But, still, forcing a man to the ground and handcuffing him looks too much for riding a hoverboard.
Guy hacking a drone and mounting a handgun on it– one thing is certain now, that with the upcoming technology and new contraptions being devised, the authorities will have to modify their rules and regulations. Further, to ensure that such gadgets are not used for creating any mischief in places like airports, the public should also support the officials.
